Vehicle ECU Remapping – Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of vehicle ECU remapping services ("Services") by KB Tuning ("we", "our", or "us") to the client ("you" or "customer"). By using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Nature of Services
Our ECU remapping services involve modifying the software that controls the engine management system of your vehicle to improve performance, efficiency, or drivability. Services may be provided either remotely or on-site, depending on customer preference and availability.

3. Customer Responsibility

  • You are responsible for ensuring your vehicle is in good mechanical condition and suitable for ECU remapping.

  • You must provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding your vehicle, including its make, model, engine type, and existing modifications.

  • Whether the service is performed remotely or on-site, you agree to follow our instructions and provide a safe, accessible, and suitable environment for any necessary equipment or tools to be used.

  • If, after inspection or diagnosis, your vehicle is found to be unsuitable for remapping (due to hardware, software, or mechanical limitations), a penalty charge of £80 or €80 will be incurred to cover time and diagnostic effort.

4. Remote Access and On-Site Requirements

  • Remote Services: You must ensure reliable internet access and install any required software or tools to enable the remote remapping session.

  • On-Site Services: You must provide safe, level access to the vehicle, and power access if needed. We reserve the right to refuse service if working conditions are deemed unsafe or unsuitable.

5. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

  • You acknowledge that ECU remapping may void your vehicle manufacturer’s warranty.

  • KB Tuning is not responsible for any damage or malfunction caused as a result of the remapping process, especially if the vehicle has underlying mechanical or software issues.

  • We do not accept liability for any losses, damages, or penalties arising directly or indirectly from the use of our Services, including but not limited to engine failure, drivetrain damage, or legal or insurance issues.

6. No Guarantee of Outcome
Performance gains vary depending on vehicle make, model, condition, and existing modifications. We do not guarantee specific improvements in power, fuel economy, or other performance metrics.

7. Payment and Refunds

  • Payment must be made in full prior to the commencement of services unless otherwise agreed.

  • Due to the nature of the service, all sales are final. No refunds will be issued once the service has been initiated.

8. Data and Privacy
Any data collected during the course of the remapping service will be handled in accordance with our privacy policy and will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom and Europe. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts within these regions.

10. Acceptance of Terms
By proceeding with our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in full.
